I suffer this specially in Quora, where the programmers seem to be Scala worshipers that have find that verbosity is a big issue for a programming language, just a hint for the geeky developers: verbosity helps!<\/p>\n<p>It is not Scala or any other specific language that could make it, I mean kill Java, mediocre developers will always push forward specific systems and specific languages, so they can get comfortable after an introduction course then a master course and then they can sit to sleep without any recycling effort in a market niche.<\/p>\n<p>If there is one language that can really kill the Java star, it is standard C++, were the community of engineers behind the specification be able to push it forward, maybe it could get a place in this world of &#8220;pay for processing cycle&#8221; that cloud fans are building.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you move in certain communities the habit is to criticize Java for being too verbose.
